The Gallery - Landscapes

I havent taken part in The Gallery for a few weeks but this weeks theme came just at the right time as I have just returned back from a weekend in Paris!

Now I was going to choose (out of my billions of photos that I took in three days!) something obvious like the Eiffel Tower or the Notre Dame but instead I chose this landscape.
This was taken from outside the Sacre Coeur, Montmarte which is the hilliest part of Paris and overlooks this beautiful scene.  We had visited this on the first day which was a grey, miserable, rainy day and you couldn't see too far away, but luckily we had time to go here again just before we left, and the sky was blue and the sun was shining, making it a gorgeous clear day.

  1. I love Monmatre, my favourite part of Paris and the view is gorgeous just like your photo!
