Goodbye 2012 - My Top 10 Photos

Continuing my run down of the year, here are my top ten favourite pictures of 2012!

10 - Taken at a vintage fair, I love the colours in this picture!

9 - I wanted this picture to look like an old seaside postcard and hopefully I have achieved it.

8 - Aww my new addition, Matthew at about 2 and a half months old smiling one of his first smiles.

7 - I am always taking pictures of the field behind my home and this was a haunting, mystical view.

6- Seeing as I spent most of 2012 pregnant, this was one of the nicest ones of me and my bump.

5 - This portrays my son and fiance's hands on my bump whilst lying in bed, the baby was kicking just after this was taken. x

4 - Another view from my kitchen window, it was a cold, winters afternoon with the horses.

3 - One of my favourite photos ever, taken at the Harry Potter Studios, I love the way this picture was gloomy before I vamped it up using Instagram!  You can see the detail in Hogwarts a lot clearer.

2 - Another picture taken from a day out in Brighton, I have emphasized the front wave so you get the feel of it still coming towards you.

1 - My favourite photo of them all, taken at the Emirates whilst watching Coldplay play live.  The mixture of colour, glitter, and balls plus the crowd makes a wonderful rainbow!  i most probably will get this put onto a canvas and put it in my living room!

If it was not for Instagram, I dont think half these pictures would look as good as the way they do!

The Gallery - World Photograph Day

Over at Sticky Fingers blog, the theme for The Gallery is World Photograph Day and our challenge was to take a picture of something on this day, that perhaps we would not be able to capture if it wasnt for the invention of cameras!!  So this is mine:

Captured on my Ipod camera, this is St Pauls Cathedral made out of Lego, as featured at Mini Land on our trip to Legoland.  It looks so real!!
I chose this because Im so grateful to have the technology to capture moments and keep them forever, it may only be a toy model but someone has put the time and effort into doing this for millions to see and I completely appreciate that! Plus, its a reminder of what a fabulous day we had.
I was going to chose a picture of my son, as when we did not have digital cameras, it was hard to capture every single moment of a childs life, but I have so many of him its hard to pick!!
Right, thats my World Photograph day complete, please check out The Gallery for more stunning pictures xx

Camden Inspiration

Inspired by the "harry potter" settings, in my own cosy old fashioned world!!
For someone who has an irratonal fear of archways, (thats another story!), i just had to take this picture!

The toilets in the basementwere smothered in graffiti!!!

One of my favourtie shops, Cyberdog, where inside its illuminated and playing some powerful tunes!!

These are just some of the inspiring settings I came across to show my love of Camden Town, London.  There is so much to see here, and to buy that you would not see in any ordinary town and I just love coming here.  It motivates me to be inspired by the atmosphere, the people and to escape from everyday life and I now wantto write a novel based on this town as there is so much to take away from here.
